Empowering Communities Through Waqf Qurbani

The Waqf Qurbani Project goes beyond the traditional sacrificial offerings by focusing on community empowerment. For 16 years, Relief Foundation International (RFI) has performed Qurbani not only to feed families but to support local farmers and communities. Through this project, we distribute meat to widows, orphans, refugees, and those in need—many of whom can only afford to eat meat during Baqraeed. Last year alone, we performed 821 Qurbanis, benefiting over 6000 families across Pakistan, ensuring that those who are often overlooked are provided with nourishment and hope.

Our main goals

Our goal is to perform Waqf Qurbani in a way that not only fulfills the religious obligation but also empowers local communities. By partnering with farmers and distributing meat to vulnerable groups like widows, orphans, and the sick, we aim to make a lasting impact. This initiative provides nourishment for those who rarely have access to meat while promoting self-sufficiency and economic growth within local communities.
